Inspirational Spirituality:

Heavenly Conflict vs. Heavenly Unity: The Source of All Bloodshed Conflicts

Reality:

  • Both internally and externally, there is a struggle/growth in victory/natural inclination: subjective/objective, pessimistic/optimistic, intuitive/worldview.

  • Inner turmoil and unrest: reality/ideal, higher self/lower self, righteousness/self-interest, silence/debate. Confucius achieved understanding at sixty and followed his heart without transgressing at seventy.

  • Focus on distinguishing between the mutable and immutable. Understanding of civilization: harmony and exploitation between nature/humankind.

  • Human Deception:

Mankind believes they can conquer heaven, yet cannot control their own tongue. Understanding: twenty layers of contrast/opposition: duality/bipolarity, analysis/synthesis, man/woman, generations/elders, science/art, knowledge/experience, self/others, individual/group, noble/common, classical/modern, conservative/open, hawks/doves, mainland/coastal, southern/northern dialects, domestic/foreign, eastern/western, religion/faith, ideology/identity, worldly/spiritual. Distinctions of both ends/poles and two types/two sides:

  • Either-Or / both-and coexistence: helps discern/unify.

  • Theoretical training/focusing and relaxing each have their uses.

  • Love/hate and life/death are causally connected. Summary: These are dualities and contrasts that can enrich life.

Biblical Teachings:

  • Differences in gifts are also used for the perfection of the saints and the building of the church.

  • Scribes who believe can achieve coexistence of new/old treasures.

  • The Lord and two groups become one, listening together to the Lord and entering abundance.

  • The path of faith connects the stern Holy Father with the humble, merciful Holy Son.

  • Evil spirits dominate and obscure the human heart; the Holy Spirit adds grace and strength through love.

Insights:

The kingdom of God is not about eating and drinking, but about righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. With faith, one should keep it before God. Those who do not blame themselves for what they believe is feasible are blessed.
